Jana Csenger is a licensed School Psychologist who has worked in the
Naples community for the past 8 years. She has worked for Collier
County Public Schools as both a School Psychologist and a Behavior
Specialist serving children ages 3-22. Prior to arriving in Florida she
was one of the first Masters level School Psychologists hired in the
state of Hawaii. She worked within the school system there to
assist her district in transitioning to school based mental health
assessment and behavioral health services. Jana received her
Master’s degree from St. John's University in Jamaica New York and her
Bachelors in Child Development and Psychology from Hampshire College in
Amherst Massachusetts. Jana has been working in the mental health
field for 22 years in corrections and community based mental health in
addition to her work in public schools as a School
Psychologist. Jana has been a Board Certified assistant Behavior
Analyst since 2003 and a certified instructor in Nonviolent
Crisis Intervention (CPI) since 2002. In her private practice Jana
specializes in behavioral based therapy, parenting skills and training
and providing community based trainings. She works with
children, adolescents, young adults and families to address problems
such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, phobias and behavior
problems. Jana is one of the instructors for the Putting Children First
class through the Mental Health Association.
Susan
Harper, Licensed School Psychologist, who has been practicing in the
Florida public schools since 1979. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in
psychology at Clemson University, and her graduate degree in school
psychology at the University of South Carolina. Her experience includes
serving students in the age ranges from three to 21 in areas associated
with educational, emotional, behavioral, and family concerns. Mrs.
Harper has worked with all categories of exceptional students including
learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disabilities, intellectual
disabilities, developmental delays, gifted, low incidence handicaps, and
other health impairments. She would be able to provide counseling and
psychological services in areas that include a variety of personal,
family, parenting, and academic concerns, and would like to assist those
who are dealing with life transitions. Her expertise includes the
ability to gather, interpret, analyze and review data from a wide
variety of sources in a thorough and organized fashion and to develop an
intervention plan to deal with the strengths and weaknesses that are
identified. She strives to be kind and compassionate, and can establish
rapport readily with adults and children with diverse challenges.
Dr.
Karen Bilter is a school psychologist with 18 years of experience
working with children and families in the public school system.
She received both her Masters degree and Doctor of Philosophy
from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.
Dr. Bilter moved to Naples from the Pacific Northwest and is
currently working on the necessary components to obtain her license as a
school psychologist through the Florida Department of Health.
She has experience with children in preschool through high
school. Her background includes
working with children on the autism spectrum and children with ADHD and
their parents in developing home programs that coordinate with
school-based programs.

Carol is a private practitioner in Play Therapy, with an office on Anchor Rode Drive, in the central Naples area.
She specializes in the treatment
of infants, children, adolescents, and families using the healing power
of play. Carol has been a
Naples
resident since 1983, and has had extensive experience in the mental
health area. She worked as a
teaching assistant at ''Step By Step” preschool for children with
special needs. Carol worked for
Collier County Public Schools for several years at the Teenage Parenting
Program (TAPP).
