Raising our voice for those unheard…

Mental Health Champion: Meet Sharon Cowie

After spending 25+ years living and traveling across the country, I settled in the Naples area. Shortly thereafter, I recognized it was time for me to make a career change as I no longer found corporate life satisfying. For many reasons, doing so turned out to be a blessing as very few of us knew what was in store as we moved into 2020. Life as I had known it would never be the same.

I initially moved into real estate as a business, or more accurately, a way to “make money”. After getting my license, I moved forward, obtaining my broker’s license along with many other certifications which allowed me to bring as much knowledge as possible to the table for the buyers and sellers with whom I work. But as we moved through the events of 2020, my career shifted from a “job” to a service for others.

Experiencing the highs and lows of the last few years opened my eyes, and my heart, in ways that may have never happened otherwise. Witnessing the struggles of many, I was introduced to the Mental Health Association of Southwest Florida.  Upon meeting Petra and Brian, I saw that we had a shared compassion for others, and I have been supporting their organization ever since.

Buying and selling a home is often one of the most expensive and impactful decisions many make in their lifetimes. Because of this, I am always honored when someone trusts me to be their support as they navigate the decision of where and when, to establish, home. I also get to support other hardworking, local home service providers support their families with every real estate transaction.

As someone who believes in a healthy and thriving community, I do hope you will grant me the honor of supporting you in your real estate journey.
